Cartouche Fashion is moving off Shopify onto Centra with one Next.js storefront. The goal is one view of orders, stock, and fulfillment.
Problem
Shopify could not keep up with how Cartouche wanted to sell across channels. I proposed headless Centra with Sitoo, plus data flows into Klaviyo, Elevar, Monta, and the rest of their stack.
Constraints
Centra, Sitoo POS, Monta 3PL, Adyen, Klaviyo, and Elevar all had to share order and stock data without duplicate sources of truth.
System
Headless Next.js on Centra. Elevar tracking, Klaviyo lifecycle mail, react-email for transactional templates. POS and warehouse wired into one order flow.
Decisions
Proposed the headless stack when Shopify stopped scaling. Wired POS and warehouse into one order flow early instead of bolting them on later.
